THE Voice for action sports at ORF

Even before I ended my coaching career, I had the chance to get a taste of working as a commentator for ORF, Austria’s largest television network. During the 2018 Olympic Games, I asked ORF if they needed a co-host, as I was repeatedly disappointed by what many “experts” had to say about the sport I love so much. Although I was very nervous, I co-hosted the halfpipe final, in which Shaun White won again. Since then, I’ve been a co-commentator at every Freestyle Snowboard and Freeski World Cup, including World Championships and the Winter Olympics. At the Summer Olympics, I was also a co-commentator for the skateboarding, surfing, and BMX competitions.

During broadcasts, I often give interviews and analyze what’s happening both on and off camera. My ability to break down complex freestyle situations into simple, easy-to-understand terms for the “average joe” has also made me a sought-after expert for newspapers and radio shows.

I’ve also started hosting the occasional live event for companies and organizations.
